Generally eucalyptus honey is regarded as having a slightly herbal flavor with a hint of menthol.  It also has a butterscotch quality and is not as sweet as some other honey flavors.  It can be a great honey to sweeten a herbal tea or a strong black tea.   This honey comes from california and is a product of the eucalyptus tree.  There are over 500 species of the eucalyptus plant with 4 different flowers so the flavor profile can change from season to season and even from hive to hive.   Our Eucalyptus honey is a completely raw product with only the wax cap scraped off the top of the extracted honey leaving only the virgin honey.
